Prototypes

The high-fidelity version of the ALERT prototype is now active. Click on the “View Prototype” button below for access. Please note that the prototype is password-protected. Please get in touch with the ALERT focal person within your agency (if any) to obtain the username and password. You can also send us a message request through the Contact page.

High Fidelity Prototype

The current version of the ALERT prototype is a high-fidelity build with interactive elements. This is a level above the previous low-fidelity, static build using InVision that was developed in 2015. Some components of the prototype allow users to input data. The information you enter in the interactive elements of the prototype are only kept for that viewing session. Once you close the browser, the information will be deleted from the system.

Although this prototype version has interactive elements, not all components of the prototype are interactive. Some components are still static. The prototype is meant to simulate how the software is going to look and function, but not all of ALERT’s intended software functionality will be simulated in the prototype.

Custom Prototype for UNOCHA

We have also developed a version of the prototype that is customized for a particular agency (in this instance, UNOCHA). We would like to test if this level of customization should be built into the system. If you would like to request access to the customized version of the ALERT prototype, please send us a message through the Contact Page.
