We have developed two types of training on the ALERT Platform that are tailored to the needs of specific types of agencies, here categorised as Tier 1 and Tier 2. The basic difference is that Tier 1 has more in-depth content on emergency preparedness concepts and practices, designed specifically for organisations wishing to strengthen their capacities in Emergency Response Preparedness and wish to adopt the ALERT Platform, while Tier 2 has more basic content on emergency preparedness concepts and practices, and are geared more towards organisations that already have strong Emergency Preparedness processes in place and wish to adopt ALERT to fit their existing model.
